This is a launcher for Guild Wars 2; you can use it to start the game multiple times without using virtual machines or additional computers.
Do keep in mind that you need one different account for each running copy, or you will not be able to login (using more than one character per account is not possible).
How to use it? Simple guide for starters
- Download the binary release, and unzip it inside the Guild Wars 2 folder
- Double click MultiWars2LT-x86.exe (or the x64 version if you have installed the 64-bit client) to start the game
- For advanced users: you may create a .bat (batch) file to add command line arguments (like auto-login, and so on)
Have a look at the Guild Wars 2 Wiki for guide on command line arguments.
By downloading, copying or using the software, source code and other files here provided, you accept the license you can read here: license.
If you just want to automatically login your character, have a look at this blog post: Automatic login with MultiWars2

Is this open source?
Yep, see above.
Is this safe?
Of course it is! No one would upload malware on a personal blog, especially when said website has the real name of the author on it. You can try to scan it with your antivirus, but keep in mind that it might detect it as a false positive. Anyway, if you don’t trust me just download the full source code (see above) and compile it yourself.
Is this against the rules? Can i get banned?
No, you will not get banned; you can see the official stand on 3rd party programs by ArenaNet here.
Does this program allow someone to play faster, better, longer, or more accurately than someone who doesn’t use it?
No, it doesn’t; if you launch more than one client, you will not play any faster than normal; you still have to run around and complete your quests, with the downside that you can only control one character at a time and you now have more than one to pay attention to (this slows you down). This means you will not play any better (actually, you will play worse than usual). You don’t play longer; with more than one account logged in you play less per-character time than when you play with one single account. Last but not least, it doesn’t let you play in a more or less ‘accurate’ way than usual (whatever that means).
Does this program allow someone to ‘play’ when he/she is not at the computer?
No. You have to manually control each character.
Does this program allow the user to gain undeserved rewards?
No. This is neither an exploit nor a cheat.
Macros are not supported. This is just a launcher. Let’s jump to ‘dual-or Multi-Boxing’.
You may use more than one account at the same time.
This is exactly what we want.
You may use more than one computer at the same time.
Alright, this might come in handy.
You must be actively playing on each account.
There’s no other way to play the game if you use (only) my launcher.
And as stated above, you may not program your keyboard to perform functions on more than one account at a time. a. For example, if you press W on your keyboard to move forward, a single character on a single account should move forward. The keystroke or mouse click should not perform functions on more than one account.
MultiWars2 doesn’t change how the input works.
